The Presidents’ Challenge 2015

Tonight, the Presidents of the losing Clubs from the 2015 Races challenged the respective holders of the two Boat Race trophies. This is the definitive moment that officially starts the season leading to The 2016 BNY Mellon Boat Races on Sunday 27th March 2016.

2016 marks the continuation of a new era in The Boat Race. 2015 saw our spectacle of speed and skill doubled as The Women’s Boat Race moved to the Tideway. The BNY Mellon Boat Race and The Newton Women’s Boat Race, in their 162nd and 71st editions respectively, give equal opportunities to all athletes.
